The Audio Playground Synthesizer Museum

The Audio Playground Keyboard Museum came to life in June of 1992,
and since then it has amassed a collection of over 1300 items. The
museum is free and open to the public, at 699 Clay St., Winter Park,
Florida.

The collection is made possible by donations from friends of the
museum, and various other sources. We do our best to restore
this equipment to its original cosmetic and mechanical condition. If
the necessary parts aren't available, we'll still display an item--in the
hope that parts come our way which will make a full restoration
possible.

The Audio Playground webpages offer a virtual tour of the collection
and shows some of the the electronic instruments and gadgets which
have shaped popular (and not so popular) music through the
years -- from the earliest innovations, to more recent toys. Enjoy!

As of Jan 1999 we have become a 501C3 Non-profit Organization in hopes that this will help fund the museum via sponsors and grants. All proceeds go towards the upkeep of the web site and the museum. The museum is working
with local schools and developing educational programs for use in the
museum and in classrooms.

Contributions gladly accepted
. Federal Income Tax credit vouchers are given for your contribution.

The museum is open to any one who wants to see it. To arrange a tour
please call (407) 628-2119.

The Recording Studios:

Audio Playground Recording Studios is a different company than The Audio Playground Synthesizer Museum, the two reside inside the same 6500 sq ft. building but are not the same company. Audio Playground Recording Studios is a 3 room facility that can handle every thing from a album project to a film score. The Audio Playground Recording Studios and its owner have also funded The Audio Playground Synthesizer Museum and supported it for many years. The studios are the main way the Museum stays open.
