OVERVIEW
The SH-09 is very much like
a one VCO
version of the SH-2. It's
smaller,
OSCILLATORS
VCO1 has Saw/Ramp, Square
and Pulse
wave forms. Range is 2´
to 32´. The pulse
width is controlled by either
a slider, the
LFO or ENV. VCO1 also has
a noise
function. The SH-09 also
comes equipped
with a Sub Oscillator which
has three
settings: 1oct down square,
2oct down
square and 2oct down pulse.
MODULATION
The LFO has square, sine
and random
(S/H) waveforms, with delay
and frequency
controls.
MIXER
The Mixer has three levers,
one for
VCO1/Sub Oscillator respectively,
and one
for the external input. The
external input is
an quite unique function
that allows you to
run any sound source through
the filter.
FILTER
The VCF is a low-pass resonant
filter with
sliders for cut-off frequency
and
resonance. It can be modulated
by the
LFO and/or the ENV. It also
has an
envenlope follower, i.e.
it can be modulated
by ext. input amplitude.
(It's awsome to
connect drums to ext. intput
and use the
envenlope follower!)
ENVENLOPES
The envelope generator is
of the standard
ADSR type. It has three trigger
modes:
gate, gate+trigger and LFO.
OTHER
The VCA has gate, ENV and
hold mode.
The pitch-bender modulates
pitch and/or
the VCF at variable amount.
