OVERVIEW
The SH-7 is, along with the SH-5, the most
powerful of the SH-synths. I has 44 keys
and pretty much everything you would want
in a synth.

OSCILLATORS
There are two VCOs which both can be set
to triangle, sawtooth, square, and pulse
waveforms. VCO1 also has another
squarewave option, called VCO1B, with five
sliders controlling the volume of different
octaves (32', 16', 8', 4', 2'), almost like an
organ. There is a pulse-width-modulation
slider for both the VCOs, companied with
swiches to select between LFO, manual
and ENV1 modes. Each VCO also has
three sliders controling LFO, S/H and
autobend modulation. The autobend is
used to pitch the VCOs at the beginning of
each note. It has pitch, time and polarity
controls.

MODULATION
There is one LFO and one stand alone S/H
section. The LFO has a sine, ramp and
pulse waveform selector switch. The S/H
section also offers three source waveforms
and a lag slider which, I think, is used to
smoothen the steps between each
"sample" to make modulation less drastic.
Both modulators has the usual rate and
delay sliders.

MIXER
The mixer provides five sliders. The first
four controls VCO1A, VCO1B, VCO2 and
Noise respectively. The last slider can be
switched between two modes,ring modulator
and external source.
